Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier Review - 2021 Nissan Murano- Video
How's it going This is Ed here with etrailer.com and right now, we're taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier, on the back of our 21 Nissan Murano. 60 inches wide, 22 inches long, constructed of aluminum, giving you real solid contact tie-down points on the top and sides of your carrier. One thing to consider for this guy is that it will obstruct your taillights. Well, not your taillights, it'll obstruct your backup sensors and you're gonna see a portion of it in your backup camera. But that is a good thing 'cause it gives you a good idea as far as where your cargo carrier is in relation to the rear of your vehicle. So, and this guy right here, these are gonna be the contact points that you're gonna make 'cause that's the sturdier part of the carrier. more

Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2022 Nissan Murano- Video
Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at this Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, it's gonna be a bit more of a unique hitch-mounted carrier, because it's sort of like a tray, very short sidewalls, but still a good amount of workable space on all the sides here. Now, there are gonna be some sidewalls, so inside dimensions front to back is gonna be 21 inches, and from side to side here, we're gonna be working with 48 inches. So with those sidewalls, you can use them to box some things in, but if you've got maybe some duffle bags, some softer items that need to overhang just a little bit, I think you'll be able to with this, so long as it's properly strapped down. For strapping things down, you can go around any of these main slats, or there's gonna be four holes in each of the corners where you can maybe get an S-hook run to or maybe a bungee. more

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2022 Nissan Murano. Now, this is gonna be the larger option available from Flint Hill Goods. Coming in at 20 1/2 inches deep, and as far as the width goes, 50, or sorry, 58 1/4 of an inch wide, it's gonna be more than large enough to carry all the stuff you might need when you're going on a trip or maybe going to the hardware store, picking some things up. And a hitch-mounted basket like this is a great way to do things like that, because it's got a high weight capacity of 500 pounds. And if you have anything out here that's messy, like bags of mulch, dirt, concrete from the hardware store that tend to make a mess inside the vehicle, that mess out here is a lot easier to clean. more

Today on our 2011 Nissan Murano we're doing a test fit of the Max Tow 48 by 21 Cargo Carrier. That part number is MT70422. This is designed to work with 2 inch hitches and has a weight capacity of 500 pounds. First thing we're going to do is take a few measurements. We're going to have about 12 inches of ground clearance there. Overall to our vehicle we're adding about 28 inches and our closest point is going to be about 5 and 1/4 inches away. Today on our 2014 Nissan Murano we're test fitting the Stromberg-Carlson 23 by 60 cargo carrier. Now they designed this cargo carrier for use with 2" hitches, and it has a 500 pound weight capacity. The part number on it is CC-100. Cargo carrier has a few really nice things going for it. The first thing I noticed is how large the openings are in our expanded steel. That's going to give us lots of room for that dirt and debris to fall down and through rather than just sitting up here and building up on top of the carrier. I also like the compactness of the raised rail. more

Today on our 2007 Nissan Murano, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Aero Gear Cage. This gear cage is going to be 32 inches wide by 48 inches long and it's going to be for your 2 inch receiver tubes only. Part number is going to be HCR222. Let's go ahead and start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance will be from the rear of the bumper to the from side of the cargo carrier here at about four and three-quarter inches. Overall this is so we've added to the back of the vehicle from the rear of the bumper to the back side of the cargo carrier, it's going to be about 39 inches. Our ground clearance, from the bottom side of the shank, it's going to be about eleven and three-quarter inches to this point here. Now let's go ahead and check our exhaust clearance here, from the back end of the exhaust tips to the front side of the cargo carrier. more

Lets Go Aero Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Murano, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Let's Go Arrow gear cage. The Let's Go Arrow gear cage is going to be thirty two inches wide by forty eight inches long and have a sturdy steel construction with a three hundred pound weight capacity. It's going to be part number HCR222. If you look down at the bottom, you're going to see that it's going to have that two inch shank that's going to connect to our two inch receiver via an anti rattle bolt as well. That way it's going to eliminate a lot of the sway, rattle and wobble. If you look on the back of the vehicle with me shaking on it, it's shaking the vehicle rather than just the rack. more

SportRack Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2015 Nissan Murano, we're going to be doing a test fit to the SportRack Vista Cargo Carrier. This cargo carrier is going to be 20-inches wide by 60-inches long with that nice expanded metal bottom for easy clean-ability and a sturdy steel construction for a 500-pound weight capacity. It's going to be attached with that two-inch folding shank that will attach to our two-inch receiver via an anti-rattle bolt there on the driver's side. It's going to be part number SR9851. Let's start off by getting a few measurements. Our closest distance here in the folded-out position is going to be from this part here to the back side of the bumper, at about 8 7/8 inches. Overall distance that we've added to the back of the vehicle, from the rear of the bumper to the back of the rack, at about 37 1/4 inches, with a rear-ground clearance of about 14 3/8 inches. Let's go ahead and open up our rear hatch and see what kind of clearance we have there. As you can see, we're going to have full, unobstructed access. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Murano, we'll be doing a test fit of the Sport Rack Vista Folding Cargo Carrier, that's part number SR9851. Its dimensions are 20 x 60 and has a nice weight capacity of 500 pounds. We can go ahead and begin our test fit by sliding the shank into the receiver of our Murano and we'll line up our pin holes. We are going to go with our second pin hole which is going to be our 5/8 pin hole. All right that looks pretty close and we'll take our included anti rattle bolt and thread that through. Now the nice thing about this anti rattle bolt it's going to help reduce the play and the rattle within our hitch and our carrier. more

Today on our 2014 Nissan Murano, we're going to be doing a test fit of the MaxTow 500 pound capacity, 20 by 47 inch aluminum cargo carrier. It has a 2 inch shank and your pin and clip are included. It's going to be part number MT70108. Let's go ahead and fit this into our 2 inch receiver that we have here today. Take your shank and your receiver, and line up your pin holes. Once you have your pin holes lined up, slide through your pin and your clip. Now let's go ahead and get some measurements. Your first measurement will be your closest distance where your rack may make contact, about 4 inches. more

Rola Dart Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2014 Nissan Mirano, we'll be test fitting the Rola Dart, it has a solid steel construction, a 2 inch shank and it's going to be 23x56 inches with a 450 pound capacity. This is going to be part number 59550 and it comes with your anti rattle bolt and pin or your anti rattle bolt and clip, apologies. Let's go ahead and test fit this. Go ahead and line up your pin holes and then we'll go ahead and insert your anti rattle bolt. Go ahead and thread that in as far as you can by hand and then we will take our 1 1/16 socket and thread it in the rest of the way. Once you have it tight, you'll see that a lot of the sway, rattle and wobble will be out of your hitch and then just go ahead and put our clip in. Next we'll go ahead and get some measurements. more

Rola Dart Folding Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Nissan Murano- Video
That completes our test fit of the 23 by 56 Rola Dart Cargo Carrier, Part Number 59550 on our2013 Nissan Murano. To begin our test fit, well slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver tube of our hitch, line up the pinhole and then thread in our anti-rattle bolt tightening it with a wrench.Now, well go ahead and go over a few clearance measurements while the cargo carrier is in the folded position. In this position, we have about 11-1/2 inches of ground clearance. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of our vehicle is about 4-1/2 inches.Now, well go ahead and pull the handle at the top of the cargo carrier to allow our carrier to tilt. In this position, we have a ground clearance here at the rear of the carrier of about 15 inches. Weve added about 38 inches to the overall length of our vehicle. more

Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano well be test fitting the Surco 24x60 cargo carrier. To begin our test fit well slide the shank of our carrier into the receiver tube of the hitch, line up the pinhole and install our pin and clip. Now well go over some clearance measurements. Here at the rear of the carrier we have a ground clearance of about 11 inches. The closest point of the carrier to the rear of the vehicle is about three inches. Weve added about 28 and a half inches to the overall length of the vehicle. more

MaxxTow Aluminum Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Nissan Murano- Video
Today on our 2013 Nissan Murano well be test fitting the Max Tow 22.5x49 cargo carrier part #: MT70108. To begin our test fit well simply slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pinholes and secure it with the pin and clip. Now that our Max Tow cargo carrier is secured to our Nissan Murano well go over a few clearance measurements to see how they fit together. We have about 10 inches of ground clearance at the rear of the carrier. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about seven inches and weve added about 29 inches to the overall length of the vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with dual exhaust which point directly in line to the cargo carrier. more
